EFPT Website Workgroup Report
This workgroup, first explored the newly released EFPT website (www.efpt.eu). The new html platform allows a higher level of interactivity and transparency. A debate about the audience we should refer to lead us to state that our target should encompass both EFPT members and people outside EFPT (such as other medical trainees, EU officers, people who just want to have information about the Federation, etc.). In order to have a website which would be both effective and informative, the workgroup decided to have separate sets of pages: those for the general public and those for registered users only.
The website should represent a tool to further spread information about EFPT activities and should be properly interfaced with the exisisting EFPT e-group. By now, the content of the website is provisional and the possible contents of the website have been discussed. EFPT Constitution, minutes of previous and present meetings, and links to national psychiatric trainee associations should be included. Materials concerning the activity of EFPT workgroups should be posted on dedicated Forums. In order to ensure a democratic debate about the topics to be posted, we asked all the participants of this Forum to post all relevant materials to Olivier Andlauer (France). Within a month all the participants to this workgroup will select the materials and make proposals about contents of the EFPT official website through our mailing list. Further to group discussion the website will be updated.
